Kimball & Young metal frame mirrors are available in gold plate, chrome, two-tone (chrome with gold accents), brushed nickel, and bronze. Before plating, the metal is bathed in neutralizing water, then dipped in a pre-plating solution. The 18k gold finish is applied using an acid gold-plating method. All finishes except chrome are lacquer coated. |
